Jahmai Scarlett is an Incubator Fellow at ClimateHaven, where he supports startup development, founder relations, and operational systems that help climate-tech innovators scale impactful ideas into fundable, market-ready ventures. He also contributes to strategic initiatives that strengthen ClimateHaven’s ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors, and community partners.
Before joining ClimateHaven, Jahmai served as a Werth Industry Academic Fellow at Southern Connecticut State University, leading research on circular battery recovery and airport electrification readiness to advance clean-energy infrastructure and sustainable materials management. He brings experience from Beers, Hamerman, Cohen & Burger, PC, where he supported tax and audit preparation, and from Centerbridge Partners, where he worked in investor services supporting large-scale capital operations.
Jahmai holds a STEM-designated MBA in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University and a B.A. in Economics from the City College of New York. Originally from Jamaica, he is passionate about building financial and operational frameworks that make sustainability accessible and scalable. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, writing, and exploring strategy games and classic esports.
