ClimateHaven Circular No. 28
Previously known as The ClimateHaven "Dispatch"

It’s the third week of 2025, and the 47th president, Donald J. Trump, has been sworn into office. Concerns about the new administration’s strategy on climate action are already materializing, with a flurry of executive orders rolling back years of hard-fought progress. As members of a community committed to advancing climate technology, we find ourselves grappling with many shared questions:

  • What does the future hold for climate tech funding?
  • Will the funding and incentives initiated by the IRA come to a halt?
  • How has the risk landscape for my startup shifted, and will my startup face greater challenges or uncover unexpected opportunities?
  • What policy changes will reshape the investment landscape in the energy transition?

While the path ahead remains uncertain and answers will unfold over time, one truth is steadfast: ClimateHaven will continue to protect, sustain, and catalyze progress. Progress is not just a goal—it is a responsibility we will uphold to empower founders to develop critical and transformative climate solutions.

For the love of the planet,

Haley and the ClimateHaven team

P.S. The ClimateHaven "Dispatch" has been renamed to The ClimateHaven "Circular" in keeping with our mission to promote circular economies as well as to remove confusion between our weekly members-only "Digest."
